Areas of Responsibility:

Organizational Management: Managed a highly diverse, complex IT organization. Provided and operated information and technology services for a community of over 2500 staff.

Planned and administered budgets for information and technology services.  Negotiate agreements and contracts for products and services from technology partners, vendors, and service organizations.
Project Management: Defined, developped, and implemented project plans for introducing new (and enhancing existing) applications, systems, and technologies. Research and evaluate new technologies for the delivery of better MIS services; Identify and mitigate risks. Develop and periodically revise the long-range technology plan, technology vision, and mission for the company.  Significant projects included IT security, global network homogeneity, guidance and best practice for local teams.

Process Management: Developed, proposed, and implement business process enhancements, strategies and policies related to the provision of information and technology services.  Negotiated and established strategic partnerships with vendors, and corporations.  Examples include partnership with Cisco, Juniper.

People Management: Provided a talented and capable staff with customer service, technical, project, and development training. Collaborate with the staff to produce individualized career path and support them in achieving unit and personal objectives. Professional development considerations are included in every project. 100% employee retention rate.

Advisory Roles: Chairman of the company IT Executive Steering Committee for the purpose of highlighting and resolving policy and operational issues related to the current provision of computing and information services.
